I agree, apparantly they have phones small enough to fit in my wallet, i don't need my phone to do excessive amounts of crap, i just want a small portable phone.
ah, yeah, while the device works for the people who want to make just voice communications, smaller size factor was good. but then for the people who want do more visual communications, factor for ease to view things on its screen becomes important. I think this once happened to digital cameras. digital cameras evolved as viewers. but I found old camera manufacturers especially didn't see this fact and slipped behind of Sony and other electronics manufacturers. now it's coming to phones. or maybe "phone" is not suitable now to call these devices. some academics may want to call these as "multi modal internet communicators". thus this phrase won't work for marketing tho : )
True, but i only want mine for text messages and voice communications, so a giant screen and a camera and 5 gigs of memory and it's own version of windows xp just isn't nessecary for what i want a phone for.
yeah, I agree with your point. for SMSing you don't need big screen and overkilling specs : ) anyway a big screen is an attractive point for 'some' because one set of Japanese character Kanji (漢字) is hard to read in small screen : )
